Gear Up

Something to wear, an easier way into a friend’s room, and a few menus that stopped getting in the way.

Added

• Gear with a sound of its own. Gym tape snaps tight on every punch, Brass rings and throws extra sparks in your ink, and Dock boots clang on each step and kick up dust when you land. Buy them in the shop with Marks or Foil. Only you see and hear your own gear.
• A “Join a room” page. On the Play tab, type a room’s code or scan its QR code (where your browser can scan) to get in.

Fixed

• Home Turf shows each fighter’s picture. The other fighter used to appear as a mask made from their name. Their picture shows now.
• The Play tab fits under the top bar. The red Gauntlet card no longer runs over the menu, and the cards scroll if the window is ever too short for them.

Changed

• The music player stays out of the way. It sits as a small note until a new song starts, or until you point at it, and then folds back.
